POCKET FILM FESTIVAL
The Pocket Film Festival returns to venues across Stafford and beyond from 25th September to 4th October 2026.
This year’s festival will feature loads of films, events and live performances, offering people the chance to experience pop-up film culture right on their doorstep.
Highlights from this year’s festival include special performances of Three Bad Men, with live piano accompaniment by Meg Morley, at Crown Wharf Theatre in Stone, and The Adventures of Prince Achmed, also with live piano accompaniment by Meg Morley, at Newcastle Museum & Art Gallery in Newcastle-under-Lyme. There will be a Square Eyes Short Film Night(which has been specially curated by Boxer Short Films) at the Brewhouse Arts Centre in Burton. We return to Unit Twelve Gallery for a screening of Rye Lane. The festival will close on Sunday 4 October with Faust, featuring live organ accompaniment by Darius Battiwalla, at Holy Trinity Church in Eccleshall.
