Unseen Cinema joined forces with Staffordshire County Council and Flatpack: Assemble to bring the brand new Pocket Film Festival to the streets of Stafford.

From Monday 13 March to Saturday 18 March, some of the town’s more quirky local venues (including a micro-pub, historic courtroom and the old Picture House cinema) played host to an exciting mixture of screenings and events.

The festival will gave audiences the chance to rediscover some real classics along with local gems from the Media Archive for Central England. Films screened included Singin’ in the Rain, 12 Angry Men, The Card and La La Land. The festival will also gave audiences the chance to explore new spaces, as well as shine a light on venues and groups who put on regular film screenings.
