Pocket Film Festival is back! Unseen Cinema and Flatpack Projects will unite once more to bring one-off screenings, exhibitions and events to Stafford from 12-17 March 2018.
We loved venturing into all kinds of venues for the very first Pocket Film festival last year. This year we invite you to join us as we bring the festival to new and exciting locations, including Staffordshire records office, Stone Library and the lovely Oddfellows Hall.
Throughout the week you can explore local history at Stafford Library with archive footage from the Media Archive for Central England; find out how to Build Your Own Film Night with the Flatpack team; and take your pick of brilliant films, old and new, including a special screening of Buster Keaton’s The General at St Mary’s Church with live piano from the outstanding Meg Morley.
Pocket Film Festival gives audiences the chance to explore new spaces, as well as shine a light on groups and venues who already provide a fantastic programme of regular screenings.
Full programme details will be posted on our website soon.
